On October 26-28, 2007, Kelly Langford of Bonham will be among thousands of women and men who unite in Dallas and walk 60 miles through Dallas/Ft. Worth. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a weekend of hope, as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer research and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it.

Kelly's commitment to walk has raised $2,725 to help fight breast cancer. Net proceeds from the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefits Susan G. Komen For The Cure to fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs, as well as the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

In the six months she has been preparing for this event, Kelly has walked 853 miles!

"During my six months of training, in the United States alone, almost 22,500 women have died from breast cancer," Langford remarks.  "A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes. Every 13 minutes, the disease claims another life. We all know someone. We must keep fighting. We must find a cure!"
