Trenton -- The Trenton Lady Tigers hosted the Lindsay Lady Knights in District 13-1A action Tuesday night.   Both teams came into the contest with 1-1 district records and both defeats came at the hands of the Collinsville Lady Pirates.  With Collinsville (2-1) falling to Savoy earlier in the evening, this presented an opportunity for either Trenton or Lindsay to earn a share of the district lead.

Lindsay got the first win, 25-20, but Trenton repaid the favor with a 25-20 win in game two.

In the pivotal third contest, the sterling play of Chelsea Hermes and Kaylee Murphee carried the Lady Knights to a 25-17 victory.

Lindsay jumped out to a 17-8 lead in game four.  Trenton narrowed the gap, with Hillary Baugh doing most of the damage, but the Lady Knights clinched the match with a 25-19 win.
