Bonham -- Funeral services for Mozell Claretta Givens, age 71, of Bonham, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Dyron R. Blanton and Rev. William Jackson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery (north of Ravenna).  Mozell passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Mozell was born October 3, 1935 in Bonham, Texas, daughter of Albert Anderson and Arnetta Ganther Anderson.  She was a seamstress at Bonham Manufacturing Co. for a number of years.  Mozell was a dedicated member of New Home Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.  A God fearing woman, she never met a stranger and was a friend to all.  She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving are ~

1 Son:  Byron Givens and wife, Tracey of Denison

3 Daughters:  Deneen Givens Dickerson of Bonham

            Terrie Givens of Dallas

            M. Yvonne Rahming and husband, Marc of Parker, Colorado

7 Grandchildren:  Damien Rahming, Axle Brown, Brandon Givens, Taylor Cain, Subyn Givens, D’Alphonso Dickerson and Tya Givens

a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Terry Don Perry, Anthony Smith, Patrick Galbreath, Demetrias Galbreath, Stanley Higgs and Ronald Morrison.  Honorary pallbearers will be Van Smith and Shelton Givens.

Visitation will be at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday night and from noon until service time Saturday at First Baptist Church.  Memorials may be made to the Davita Dialysis Center, 201 W. 5^th St., Bonham, TX 75418.  Online guest register at www.wisefuneralhome.com
