Trenton - Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Pierce, age 54 of Trenton will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 21, 2007 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham.  Officiating will be Mr. Kenneth Womack and Eulogy will be given by Dave Baker, interment will follow in Burns Cemetery in Trenton.  Mr. Pierce passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at his residence. 

He was the son of Raymond Earl Pierce and the late Cecil Ann Mason Pierce.  Mr. Pierce was married to Debbie A. Luther on January 14, 1981 in Trenton, Texas.  He was Commander of American Legion Post 29 in Sherman, and members of Sons of the American Legion, Red River Dart Association and Hog. 

He is survived by his wife Debbie Pierce of the home.  Sons - Michael Steffen & wife Jessica of Garland and David Steffen &wife Jessica of Carrolton.  Grandchildren - Kaitlin Steffen, Sierra Steffen, Jordan Steffen and 1 unborn grandchild.  Father - Raymond Earl Pierce & wife Carolyn of Blue Ridge, Tx..  Step-Sisters - Julie, Terri and Dana.  Sisters-in-law - Belinda; Kathy Baker & husband Dave and Tina Womack & husband Kenny.  Nieces and Nephews - Krista, Kurt, Jessie, Andrea, Cassie and Kylyn. 

Pallbearers will be Walter Wolfington, Jim Fleming, Ronnie VanZandt, Mark Thompson, Gerald Dobbins and Gary Dobbins.

The family will received friends from 6-8PM Thursday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
