Bonham -- Funeral services will be held for Richard Arvil Moyer, age 74, of Bonham, Texas at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Central Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas.   Officiating will be Bro. Brandon Dona and burial will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery.   Mr. Moyer passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham. 

He was born the son of the late Lonnie Forrest & Maudie Shannon Moyer on June 1, 1933 in Hugo, Oklahoma.  He married Wanda Burt in Bonham, Texas on June 9, 1956.  He served in the U.S. Army. He was a manager for Central Freight Lines in Bonham, Tx.  He was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church.

Survived by wife Wanda Moyer of Bonham; daughters Franda Vaughan & Arvilia Moyer, both of Bonham; 4 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild; sister Daisy M. Jamison of Oregon; brother Charles W. Moyer of Princeton, Tx. & host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Preceded in death by parents, sisters Helen & Martha, brothers Harvey, Bill, Lonnie Jr. & Jessie Clyde.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Shastid, Michael Vaughan, Adrian Vaughan, Steve Vaughan, Joe Herndon and Rick Ryker.

Family will receive friends from 7-8:30PM Friday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
