Blake Shelton to perform at SOSU on August 22

DURANT, Okla. --­ Southeastern Oklahoma State University is proud to present "Blake Shelton Live at Southeastern" on Wednesday, Aug. 22. 

Special guest will be the popular group "Spur 503." 

The concert will be held at Paul Laird Field on the SOSU campus. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.           

Tickets are priced at $15 for SOSU students currently enrolled for Fall 2007 and $30 for non-SOSU students. 

All seating is general admission. 

Student tickets ($15) will be available only in the new Student Union and students must present a valid SOSU student ID at the time of purchase. 

Student tickets will be sold until 5 p.m. on the day of the show. 

All other tickets ($30)may be purchased on the university website, www.sosu.edu or by calling 1-866-443-8849. 

Shelton, a native of Ada, has delivered such country hits as "Austin," "The Baby,"  "Ol' Red,"  "Nobody But Me,"  "Goodbye Time," and "Some Beach." 

Spur 503 is well known for such songs as "Into You," number 11 on the Texas Music Chart and "That's What's Wrong With Me," number 22. 

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Southeastern Foundation scholarship fund.
