Greenville -- Funeral services for Loretta McClure Owings, 86, of Greenville will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007 in the chapel at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
 
Mrs. Owings died July 11, 2007, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
   
She was born June 19, 1921, in Greenville, the daughter of Will Grantham and Emma Sells Grantham. On August 14, 1940, she married Raymond M. McClure in Greenville.  He preceded her in death in 1991. On July 6, 1992, she was married to James E. Owings and he preceded her in death in 1994.
   
Mrs. Owings was a homemaker and was a member of House of Prayer. She was a certified nurse's assistant for twelve years at Parkhaven Nursing Home.
   
Loretta McClure Owings is survived a son, Jimmy McClure of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters Betty Jenkins of Caddo Mills and Wanda Standlee of Celeste; son Bobby McClure of Greenville; daughter Carolyn Pippin of Greenville; sons Mike McClure of Greenville and David McClure of Greenville; grandchildren Victor McClure, Janis Fite, Johnny Ray Bramlett, Sandy Simpson, Brian McClure, Julie Solis, Tammy Bramlett Anderson, Bruce McClure, Laurie Vineyard, Bridget Powell, Shane McClure, Justin Bowman, Shelly Siewert, Buford McClure, Brooke McClure, and Raymond McClure; twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family; and special friend, Dixie George of Campbell. 

Loretta McClure Owings was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jerry McClure in 1978; a brother, Herbie Grantham; and two sisters, Ida O'Dell and Ethel Norris.

Pallbearers are Victor McClure, Johnny Ray Bramlett, Brian McClure, Shane McClure, Justin Bowman and Buford McClure.
 
Honorary pallbearers are Bo Fite, Larry Wood and Neal Russom.
 
Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
