COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Communication can make or break a real estate deal. For those who need some help communicating with Spanish-speaking clients, the English-Spanish Real Estate Glossary is an essential reference. And this year, it talks!
The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University has created a computer CD version of its best-selling glossary. It includes the Spanish pronunciations of 700 real estate terms.
The CD can be used by both English and Spanish speakers. Real estate terms can be listed alphabetically by either English or Spanish spellings.
Print and audio versions give clear explanations of real estate terms in both languages — from the relatively simple (open house/casa abierta, earnest money/arras)to the more complex (escrow/plica, easement/servidumbre).
Entries concisely describe the significance of each concept and where or when the term is most likely to be used.
The book is small enough to carry in a briefcase, and the CD can go wherever a laptop computer goes.
To order by credit card, visit our online store or call 800-244-2144, or send a check to the Real Estate Center, 2115 TAMU, College Station, TX 77843-2115. The price is $5 for the CD, $5 for the book and $7.50 for both. Discounted prices for large quantities are available.
