Three more Bonham Lady Warriors will continue their athletic careers in college after Renee Breach, Dani Hilger and Jenna Lappin signed this week.

Renee Breach will play softball for Grayson County College and GCC coach Teresa Barnett was at Bonham High School Tuesday, May 23 for the signing, along with Renee’s parents Ed and Cathy Breach and her older sister, Amy Tyler.  This past season will be the one Renee says will always stand out says the new Lady Viking.

“We really clicked as a team,” Renee remarked.

Dani Hilger will play softball for the head coach Angela Froboese and the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets next season.  Dani’s parents, Shane and Terri Hilger will no doubt be making several trips to Brownwood to watch the Yellow Jackets in action.  When she looks back on her playing days at BHS, Dani says her home run against Bells in the Bonham Softball Tournament this year will always be a special memory.

Jenna Lappin will head west to play for North Central Texas College, where she will join another 2006 BHS grad, Bridgette Hubbard, on the volleyball court next fall.  Jenna’s parents, Rhonda and Jimmy Lappin, were at BHS for the signing ceremony Tuesday.  Always a spirited competitor, Jenna says the highlight of her high school athletic career came in a showdown with Royse City that Bonham won to take first place in district.
