Bonham, Texas - In near 100 degree temperatures, the bands performing turned up the heat, too, and gave the crowd what they came for at the Battle of the Bands this past weekend in Fannin County.

The multi-purpose complex west of Bonham was the scene for the musical competition Saturday, May 20, 2006. 

Honey Grove native Tyler Bryant hit the stage with all he had and the crowd greeted the young bluesman with a roar of applause. The energetic lead guitarist not only played all over the stage, but Tyler brought it out in the crowd for a close-up of his seering runs up and down the frets of his electric guitar.
