Ravenna, Texas -- Tim Bruce Fogle of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital after a courageous and lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Tim Bruce was born March 25, 1919, at the family home on Hawkin’s Prairie near Ivanhoe, Texas to Tim F. and Fannie Blakey Fogle.

He married Mary Ethel Whisenhunt on February 9, 1949, in Bonham, Texas.  He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, as well as a devoted and loving husband, daddy and granddad.  He loved his home, working with his cattle, and being a good neighbor.  He was a member of the Ivanhoe Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ethel Fogle of the home; daughter, Judy Rivers and husband, Tommy of Ravenna; grandson, Shane Rivers of Ravenna; nieces, Rozelle Fowler of Bonham and Charlotte Kirk of Dallas; step-grandson, Richey Rivers and wife, Sylvia of Sherman; step-great grandchildren, Elliot and Emily Rivers of Sherman; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mary Helen Baker, Edna McFarlin, and Florence Keahey.

Funeral services wil be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham.  Bro. Mike Dickison will officiate, and Bro. John Hawk will assist.  Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham.  Pallbearers will be Joel Shepard, Richard McAbee, Rusty Lyles, Marty Kueckelhan, Bill Clinton and Billy Forest Clinton.   Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Nowlin, Charlie Manhart, E. T. Tarpley, Charles Holder, John Myracle, Keith Johnson, John Hoelzel Sr., Haynes Kueckelhan, Wayne Titsworth and Bruce Witcher.

The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 20^th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Wise Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247.
