Whitesboro Lady Cats 64, Paradise 28

A dominating performance by the Whitesboro girls allowed the Lady Cats to chalk up a 36-point win over Paradise in the opening round of the 2005 Whitesboro Basketball Tournament.

Whitesboro raced out to a 20-4 lead after the opening period.  When the Lady Cats had the same success in the second stanza, that gave Whitesboro a 40-8 advantage at intermission.  The Lady Cats coasted to a 64-28 victory.

Whitesboro's Jodie McCutcheon was six-of-nine from the floor and finished with 14 points.  McCutcheon snatched eight steals, dished off four assists, grabbed five boards and blocked a pair of shots.  Leticia Silva also put up 14 points to go along with seven rebounds, five steals and three blocks.  Mendie Clark and Ashley Brown both dropped in eight points, Christine Saye scored seven, Amber Grounds had six, Hadleigh Farren added four points and Kelly Neal knocked down three points.

Foreman scored 15 for Paradise to lead all scorers, Jurosek finished with five and Mitchell had four points.
