Simply Gospel Reunion!

The Chrystal Opry House was host to a Simply Gospel reunion this past weekend. It had been 14 years since the group had performed together and they didn't miss a note!

For the regular fifth Saturday Mini-Festival at the Chrystal Opry House, Denim Grass, Hard 2 Git, and AcousticBlend were booked. Linda (fiddle) and James Roberts (guitar) of Denim Grass were former members of Simply Gospel. James Martin (mandolin) and Stuart Anderson (banjo) of Hard 2 Git were also former members of Simply Gospel. A "Reunion" performance was planned and Joe Worley (bass), Danny Martin (vocals), and Van Barton (dobro) joined them onstage for an entertaining and outstanding performance of bluegrass music.
