April 5, 2005
Honey Grove Country Club Pavilion
Time: 9:00am – Noon
Fence contractors and manufacturers from across North Texas will demonstrate their fencing wares from both electric and conventional viewpoints. Fence building contractors will also be present to assist you with any fence construction needs.
One of the most important parts of the cattle/goat/horse management plan is rotation of grazing between fields. Rotational grazing can increase grass production up to 30% and improve grass health at the same time. That is why this fence demonstration is so important.
Green Milkweed is one of the hardest to kill and biggest nuisance weeds in pastures in the blackland. Daryl Evans with DOW Elanco will set up a green milkweed control demonstration at the site. This is some much needed information on controlling the hardest to kill weed in North Texas.
