Plano -- Eisenbergs Skatepark in Old Downtown Plano will host monthly First Thursday art classes by ARThouse starting November 5. Art classes and activities, ranging from action art to t-shirt creation and Van Gogh inspired printmaking, for ages 3-adults, will be held throughout the day.

Offering classes as low as $10, ARThouse and Eisenbergs have joined forces to reach out to skaters, bikers, band kids, parents, east-siders and anyone who wants to enjoy the freedom of dipping into some paint and having a little creative fun.

Choose a class and register at www.eisenbergs.com.

Several different art classes will be offered between 10 am until 8pm, with preschool and homeschool options during the day and classes for ages 8 to young adults available after school and work. Subjects taught will relate to action sports and street art design, and students will draw from the live skaters and bikers, as well as use graphic design techniques to create original street apparel.

”For 13 years, I’ve felt a sense of excitement every time I walk into the skatepark,” says Vicki Eisenberg, president and owner of Eisenbergs. “Now, I feel a renewed sense of delight because we are able to provide an additional creative outlet for children and young adults in our area.  We are thrilled to be working with ARThouse.”

ARThouse was founded by a family of artists and is dedicated to encouraging the artist within all of us through quality art instruction. Self esteem, fine-motor skills and overall scholastic achievement is improved through art education.
