Red River Uniatrian Universalist Church is pleased to welcome folk
musician David Roth to the pulpit on Sunday, October 18, at 11:15 am. If a folk musician & his music can be described as "elegant", that's the word I would use to describe both David and his songs. The dictionary says that elegance denotes both "richness and refinement" David's songwriting contains both ingredients!! Then, mix some wit and compassion into this combination and you have a delectable concoction.

That's why David was the landslide top vote-getter at the Falcon Ridge (NY) Folk Festival's "Most Wanted" competition in 1996 and the NAIRD "Indie" nominee for his album, Digging through My Closet, in 1994. David Roth has gained national attention for his unique songs, moving stories, and powerful singing and subject matter. He can take the stories of unsung heroes and heroines who have made a difference in this world and put them into songs that can be sung. In a world filled with plenty of negativity, he serves up a dish of hope.

Read about David's adventures between birth and his successful career as a singer-songwriter - and as a presenter at inspirational multimedia programs to audiences that have included the U.S. Congress, the Pentagon, National Geographic, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and countless conferences, camps, and retreats: www.davidrothmusic.com.
