Printed From North Texas e-News == ntxe-news.com Sports Bland Lady Tigers appeared at the University Interscholastic League Class A state golf tournament in Austin for the first time in school history according to their coaches Rick Tidwell and Brian Garner.
Senior Tera Wendland finalized her high school career shooting an 88 in Tuesday's final round to finish with a two-day total of 173, leading the Lady Tigers to a fourth place team finish.
Keledy Wendland followed her sister with a (94-102) 196. Morgan McNatt scored a (118-111) 229, Emily Doonan turned in a (125-123) 248. and Brittany Hightower shot a (143-140) 283 for the team. Katie Hightower was alternate.
Martin Mills took top honors, Wellington placed second and Baird rounded out the top three in team competition.
