Bonham Police report the arrest of Rebecca Eilene McGregor, 42, for the robbery of Bonham Fuel and Food, a local convenience store.  The suspect, originally from Quanah, Texas but currently living in a Bonham motel, will be charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Police expect the suspect to be arraigned May 8, 2008.

The incident occurred Wednesday, May 7 at 9:37 p.m. when a white female walked into the Bonham Fuel and Food and handed the clerk a written note that said, "Give me the money, I've got a gun."

The clerk complied and the suspect left the building; no gun was seen.  Video showed the suspect to be driving an older model white four-door vehicle, believed to be a Ford product. The suspect left the scene, driving north on Poplar Street from the store.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle was found in the parking lot of the Bonham Inn, a local motel.

Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle.  When the owner matched the suspect on in-store video, police made the arrest.
