Fannin County Sheriff’s Office announces the closure of a six-month long Narcotic Investigation specifically targeting crack cocaine. Sheriff Moore advises, “Our Investigators have worked extensively over the past 6 months, targeting Crack Dealers of all levels in Fannin County, from the street dealer to the upper management.” Friday May 02, 2008, we began executing more then twenty-five arrest warrants in Ladonia, Texas and the surrounding area. The special operation unrolled in three levels. Level one was taking upper management dealers into custody. The second level was executing search warrants on “The Stash House” and the third level was serving arrest warrants. During the arrests May 2 we seized approximately 20 grams of Crack Cocaine with a street value of $2,000.00, located a stolen vehicle, arrested ten defendants and shut a crack house down that was next door to a school. This investigation will continue until all suspects are in custody. Over the coming weeks we hope to see a substantial decrease in crack cocaine in Fannin County.
