Rising country music artist Jack Ingram will be the headline act at this year's Rally 'Round Greenville festival.
Ingram, who makes his home in Austin, has hit the national music charts with such hits as "Wherever You Are," "That's a Man," "Love You," and "Barefoot and Crazy."
"We are very excited to present Jack Ingram in a free concert right on our Courthouse Square," said Greenville Chamber tourism director and festival organizer Milton Babb.
Ingram will perform on the Bud Light Stage beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Making their fourth appearance at Rally, the Emerald City Band kicks things off Friday night, Sept. 20 with a high-energy street dance.
Music continues Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the main Bud Light Stage, the Kids Alley stage will also feature local musicians and other performances. Bounce houses and other amusements will be located in the Kids Alley just west of Wesley Street at the corner with Lee Street.
This year's BBQ Cook-off benefits the Texas Wounded Warrior fund. Foods of all kinds will be offered throughout the downtown festival zone, with many arts and crafts vendors and local merchants sponsoring sidewalk sales.
An Art Show will be located in the Landon Winery complex, as well as a Casino Nite sponsored by Habitat for Humanity.
As always, the festival coincides with the Cotton Patch Challenge Bicycle Ride.
Admission to Rally 'Round Greenville is free. Sponsors include Bud Light, Lake Pointe Imaging, Alliance Bank, Landon Winery, City of Greenville, Hunt Regional Medical Center, Keep Greenville Beautiful, Home Depot, Super One Foods, KHYI The Range, KGVL/KIKT, The Ranch Radio, The River 104.3 FM and
