Despite a big day at the dish from Brent Treybig, who finished 3-3, Sam Rayburn Rebels lost 9-3 to Celeste at Celeste on Tuesday.

Donald Jarrard got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over six innings. Jarrard struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits.

Celeste never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Jarrard and an RBI single by Austin Shatto.

A one-run sixth inning helped bring Sam Rayburn Rebels within one. An RBI single by Treybig sparked Sam Rayburn Rebels' rally. The Sam Rayburn Rebels threat came to an end when Jarrard finally got Nolan Riley to ground out.

Celeste quickly matched Sam Rayburn Rebels' strong inning with a five-run inning of its own in the sixth. Celeste scored on a passed ball, an RBI double by Butcher, and a three-run double by Colton Smith.
