Bonham, Texas -- Look for high-flying motorcycles, Wild West re-enactors, classic cars and trucks, a garden tractor pull, a fireman's rodeo, music all day long and much more as one of the oldest towns in Texas celebrates 177 years of heritage Saturday, May 4, 2013 when historic downtown Bonham hosts the 7th Heritage Day Celebration.

From the time Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd welcomes the crowd at 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. when musical headliner the Brandon Bush Band takes the stage for a two-hour performance, this year's Heritage Day Celebration will feature non-stop activities.
Gun smoke will fill the air at 8:45 a.m. when the Sons of Confederate Veterans re-enactors stage the first of several performances planned for the day.

At 9:00 a.m. Pinn-it Motocross stunt riders will soar into the air. The guys from Pinn-it Motocross will be back for exciting performances at noon and 3:00 p.m.
Fannin County fire departments will compete at 1:00 p.m. in the Fireman's Rodeo.

Garden Tractor Pulls are another big draw and the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pull Association competition will get underway at 3:00 p.m. on Old Ector Road.

Meanwhile, back at the Bonham Square singer-guitarist Caleb Coonrod performs at 3:30 p.m.
There will also be a Red River Military Vehicle display, a ham radio demonstration by Fannin County Amateur Rodeo Club on the east side of the Fannin County Courthouse, as well as a Model Train Display and an Historical Display inside Bonham Visitors Center.
