Wylie, TX, January 24, 2012   – On Monday, January 23, 2012, The Wylie Police Department received an email alleging that Wylie Police Officer, Jim Bunger had participated in lewd behavior.  Immediately upon receiving this information, Wylie Police Officials contacted the Texas Rangers and the Garland Police Department where the officer resides. 

Wylie Police Department is conducting the administrative investigation.  Any criminal investigation will be handled by the Garland Police Department.  

The officer and two civilian employees involved are on paid administrative leave pending outcome of administrative and criminal investigations.
