Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for Glen Capehart, age 56 of Bonham, TX will be held at 10:00 AM at Carson Cemetery on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Rev. Donald L. Griffith will officiate the service. Mr. Capehart went to be with the lord, on August 17, 2010 after a lengthy illness.

Glen Capehart was born on May 10, 1954 in Greenville, TX to parents Ray C. A. and Adell Alline (Underwood) Capehart. He married Connie (Scherzer) Capehart on October 6, 2006 in Ravenna, TX. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher in Fannin County. He loved his horses, family, and his grandchildren. He worked for Fisher Control in McKinney, TX until the company relocated. He never met a stranger and loved to have cookouts for all his friends. If anyone called for help he was there to do what he could. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by wife-Connie Capehart of Bonham, daughters-Christy McClure and husband Keith of Ravenna, and Jennifer Johnson and husband David of Ector; son-Jeremy Capehart of McKinney, stepsons-Michael Stroud and wife Shauna of Bonham, and Matthew Stroud of Bonham, twin sister Glenda Osborne and husband Roy of Bonham, sisters-Betty Spann of Allen, and Pat Lee of Garland; brothers-Billy Capehart and wife Madeline of Bonham, and Ronnie Capehart of Ector, family friend Cecil Thomas of Bonham, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Gene Capehart.

Pallbearers will be Lance Capehart, Bobby Capehart, David Capehart, Jerry McClure, Keith McClure and David Johnson.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
