02-03-2010 Deputy Robinson was dispatched to Private Road 452 regarding a burglary. The complainant told the reporting deputy that someone had entered the residence and stolen jewelry, coins and a pistol. Complainant said the burglary occurred sometime between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM 02-03-2010 while he was away from the residence.

 

02-05-2010 Deputy Watson responded to a reported theft on CR 2411. The complainant told Deputy Watson that money had been stolen from him via an internet email transaction that involved the purchase of a vehicle. The complainant contacted an individual by email to purchase a vehicle that was for sale. The seller, who was located in Florida, required a certain amount of money be sent by money gram to hold the vehicle. The complainant sent the requested amount to the seller of the vehicle. The seller requested additional money, to insure delivery of the vehicle, in another email. The complainant sent the remaining money requested and has yet to receive delivery of the vehicle.

 

02-07-2010 Deputy Scott contacted a complainant by telephone regarding a stolen vehicle. The complainant told Deputy Scott that someone had taken his vehicle from the driveway of his home. He provided the deputy with the license plate number and description of his vehicle and told the deputy that the keys to the vehicle were missing. At the same time of this call another deputy was investigating a motor vehicle accident that involved the complainant’s vehicle. The accident occurred approximately 1 mile from the complainant’s residence. A female was driving the vehicle in question and had been involved in the accident. The complainant told Deputy Scott that the female did not have permission to use his vehicle. During the accident investigation it was determined that the female was intoxicated. The female was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
