On December 2, Ector was the host of the District 22, West Division Academic UIL Elementary and  Junior High Meet. 

The schools attending were Dodd City, Ector, Fannindel, Miller Grove, Phoenix Charter, Roxton, and Savoy. 

In the Junior High Division, Ector placed first with 563 points, Savoy placed second with 471 points, and Dodd City placed third with 463 points.  Ector Elementary placed third.
