The Ector Junior High boys won their first game of year, beating Sam Rayburn 30-25 on Monday night.
Juan Salazar led Ector to victory by scoring 13 points, Juan Grijalva scored seven, Alex Jones added five points, Trent Jones tossed in three points and Colby Ward contributed two points.
The Ector Junior High boys are now 1-4 on the season and their next game will be January 7 when Savoy comes calling.
