The Trenton Tigers defeated the Honey Grove Warriors in the first round of the Campbell Tournament Thursday night, 59 - 37.

Trenton took an early lead and at the end of the first quarter the score was Trenton 14, Honey Grove 9. The second quarter saw the Tigers extend their lead to 31 - 17 after a late 8-0 run.

The Tigers went on to outscore the Warriors in each of the final two quarters.

The Tigers will play Detroit in the semifinal round at 8:00 pm Friday night.
