The Dodd City boys basketball team opened up the season on the road Tuesday night with a win over the Campbell Indians. 

The Hornets took the early lead, never looked back, and ended up defeating the Indians by the score of 71 to 57. 

Scoring for Dodd City was: Patrick Moore with 18, Nathan Roberts with 9, Landon Darwin had 8, Seth Stephens, Shihei Williams, Dillon Stewart, Jaylen Wallace, & Ethan Taylor all had six each, Steven Cockrill had 4, and Landon Liebel rounded out the scoring with 2 points. 

The Hornets take on Irving Universal at North Central Texas College in Gainesville on Friday.
