Lyndal Berry Burnett, 67, of Ladonia passed away Friday, November 13, in Commerce.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 16, in the Oakridge Cemetery under the direction of the Delta Funeral Home of Ladonia. Rev. Ruben Trussel will officiate.
Mr. Burnett was born in Fannin County on February 28, 1942, the son of Lloyd Berry Burnett and Mamie Lee Watson Burnett. He married Sue Bryant on August 26, 1961. Mr. Burnett had retired as the director of the vocational printing facility at A&M University in Commerce. He had lived in Ladonia for all of his life, except for six years in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister: Peggy Davis in 2008.
He is survived by his wife: Sue Burnett, of Ladonia, two sons: Berry Burnett, of Commerce, and Philip Burnett,of Ladonia, a brother: Johnny Burnett, of Burleson, a sister: Wanda Pharr, of Muskogee, and three grandchildren: Travis Berry Burnett, Taner Bryant Burnett, and Katie Burnett.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home in Ladonia.
