Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services with full military honors for Walter Clackum Jr., age 57, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Mr. Clackum passed away at his residence on Friday, November 6, 2009. 

Walter S. Clackum Jr. was born in Hampton, SC on August 26, 1952 to parents Walter S. and Ethel Compton Clackum Sr. He married Paula Stanley on July 25, 2003 in Hampton, SC.  He retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a juvenile corrections officer.  

Survived by his wife-Paula Gail Clackum of Bonham, sons-Travis, Michael, Scotty Clackum, and David Stanley. Daughter-Samatha Clackum, 8 grandchildren, his mother-Ethel Moss of SC, sister NellaAnn Crapse of SC. Preceded in death by father, and brother Ardell Clackum. 

Family visitation will be held from7-8 P.M. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
