Commerce, TEXAS -- Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty will give area middle school and high school students the college classroom experience as part of the Middle School and High School Academic Enrichment Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the A&M-Commerce Metroplex Center in Mesquite.

After a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., students will take part in
workshops throughout the morning with A&M-Commerce faculty. They will also have the opportunity to take a free SAT practice test from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

Students opting not to take the practice test will have a full range of
workshop sessions to choose from that will conclude at 1:30 p.m.

"Workshop sessions are designed to expand education horizons and let students experience college level classes taught by college faculty and other professionals," said Dr. Joyce Miller, associate professor of curriculum and instruction at A&M-Commerce. "A wide range of topics will be explored, including arts and sciences, business, human services, education, engineering, and technology."
