The Tom Bean Police Department recently attended the open house of the newly renovated Sherman Wal-Mart and was one of the recipients to receive a $1000 grant from the Walmart Corporation. 

Tom Bean Police Chief Michael Webster and Tom Bean Mayor Sherry E. Howard were on hand to receive the award from Manager Bryan Lambert.

The city of Tom Bean and the Police Department appreciate this generous donation of which will be used to purchase "Stranger Danger" activity books for the elementary students.
