Stemmons Corridor Business Association welcomes keynote speaker T. Boone Pickens Nov. 4

T. Boone Pickens,  Founder and chairman, BP Capital Management, will be the keynote speaker at the 28th Annual Stemmons Corridor Business Association Meeting Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the event gets underway at noon.

Mr. Pickens will  provide an update on The Pickens Plan to enhance U.S. energy security and address his proposal to market surplus Texas groundwater to North Texas.

Among those expected to be in attendance are Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, 14 Dallas Councilmembers, Rep. Linda Harper-Brown, Rep. Carol Kent, Rep. Terri Hodge, Stemmons Corridor Business Association (SCBA) Board of Directors and SCBA members and guests (480 confirmed guests). 

For 28 years, the Stemmons Corridor Business Association (SCBA) has been the voice for the Stemmons Corridor.  SCBA is a non-profit member based organization with the mission to promote and support the mutual business interests of its members through unified advocacy leading to sustainable economic growth and an attractive, accessible and safe business environment in the Stemmons Corridor.
