Greenville -- Join the fun at the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum for Family Fun Day.  It’s all about the 1800s.  Children will be able to make arts and crafts, play games and find out what it was like to live in an era where there was no tv or video games!

Make a mosaic picture out of vegetables and pasta.  Create your own old-fashioned ornaments, make a small log cabin and your own bead bracelets.  Play games like marbles, checkers and horseshoes.  These are just some of the crafts and games that all of the children will be able to do while at the Museum.  All of the games and crafts are just like those that would have been done back in the 1800s!

There is free admission to the Family Fun Day event which will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  The Museum is located at 600 I-30 East in Greenville, Texas.  For additional information please contact the Museum at (903) 450-4502.
