Gene Wolfe, 77 of the Sash Community, Texas passed away Wed. October 28, 2009 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Texas

Funeral services will be 11:00A.M. Sat. Oct. 31, 2009 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove. Rev. David Holt will officiate. Pallbearers serving will be Ryan Wolfe, Michael Wolfe, Josh Haivala, David Niblett, Sammy Shelton and Cory Green. Honorary Pallbearer, T.J. Gilbreath. Masonic graveside services will be conducted. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Gene was born Oct. 9, 1932 in Ladonia, Texas and was the son of Albert P. Wolfe and Mattie M. Stalie. He married Reba Jo Hicks April 7, 1956 in Bogata, Texas. He served his country in the military and was a member of the Collins Masonic Lodge #356 in Tigertown, Texas. Mr. Wolfe was a welder and retired form Babcock & Wilcox in Paris, Texas.

Gene is survived by his wife Reba and Sons, Rickey Wolfe and Wife, Vickie; Larry Wolfe and Wife, Cathy all of the Sash Community; Kenneth Wolfe and Wife, Debbie of the Ubell Community; 13-Grandchildren and 11-Great Grandchildren.
