Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services with military honors for Woodrow Nathan Rife, age 82 of Bonham will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2PM at the Bettis Cemetery in Fannin County. Bro. Brian Rayburn will officiate. Services are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.

Mr. Rife passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Clyde W. Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham. He was born July 15, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of Clifton and Grace Means Rife.He married Edna Markley in Rittman, Ohio August 28, 1948. She preceded him in death December 31, 2004.

He served in the United States Army during World War 2. He was of the Baptist faith and was a farmer.

Mr. Rife is survived by one son, Ronald Rife and wife Billie, 2 daughters, Janet Garland/Ingram and husband Kenneth and Joyce Rife. 5 grandchildren, April Michelle Rife, Mykayla Rife, Jadyn Garland, Kelly Meadors, and Guy Garland. 2 great grandchildren, Connie Reed and Miles Meadors. 4 brothers, Keith Riffe, Glenn Riffe, Denver Riffe and Vernon Riffe. 1 sister, Naomi Fiacable and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
