The Melissa Lady Cardinals hosted Tom Bean on Friday night and won, 3-0. The Lady Cardinals reeled off wins of 25-12, 25-6 and 25-14 to pick up the sweep.
Melissa is now 16-19 for the year and 7-2 in district with a challenging road trip coming up next Friday.
The Lady Cards take on Gunter on Friday, October 23 at 4:30 p.m. at Gunter High School (V, JV).
