Red River Angus Association to meet Sept. 8

The Red River Angus Association (RRAA) will meet Tuesday evening, Sept. 8, 6:30, at the Smokehouse Restaurant in Lindsay, Texas.  The RRAA is a nonprofit organization where Angus breeders can meet and exchange ideas on cattle production.

September kicks off the new year for RRAA and all interested cattle producers are invited to attend.

Our program will be “Winter Pasture Options”.  We will discuss when, how, how much and what it cost.  Winter feed cost is one of the biggest expenses cattle producers have and a forage based winter program can help keep these costs in check and give producers the option of producing the most pounds of beef the most economically on retained calves.

Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship and educational opportunities available while surrounding yourself with folks with a common interest.

For more information on the meeting or joining the Red River Angus Association, visit our web site, www.redriverangusassoc.com  or contact Rayford Pullen, 940-841-1510.
