In the spirit of the season, the Lake Fannin Wilderness Park is proud to present another murder mystery theatre production.  Angel Street, the three-act thriller by Patrick Hamilton, was first presented in London in 1938, under the name Gaslight – the name Hollywood used when it produced the movie, starring screen legends Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, Joseph Cotton and a teenaged Angela Lansbury.

Under the direction of Cheryl Youree, the characters are Bella Manningham, a distraught woman who is apparently losing her mind (played by Allison Cardile); her husband Jack Manningham, whose smooth exterior barely disguises his dark intentions (played by Cliff Harjo); Detective Rough, the gregarious policeman, whose hunch leads him to the Manningham household (played by Karl Riemer); Nancy, the young maid who beguiles Manningham (played by Caroline Todd); and Elizabeth, the cook, who is trying to help her mistress hold onto her courage, her sanity and her life (played by Lisa Avila).

Reservations/tickets are on sale now. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, October 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. Two matinee performances are on Sunday, October 12 and 19 at 2 p.m.  Call 903-583-5460. Ticket price of $20 includes delicious desserts and coffee.  All proceeds go the Lake Fannin Wilderness Park.
