Fannin County kids featured in 9th annual Independence Day Parade

Everyone loves a parade.  Everyone knows we have to conserve gas.  And everyone seems to agree children need more exercise.

Well, the folks at Footsteps and Fingerprints Development Center combined all three concepts to feature a red, white and blue 4th of July parade planned especially for children.

Even in a sea of red, white and blue, maybe the most patriotic part of this parade was that, particularly in light of the ongoing energy crisis, it used no fossil fuel; just healthy American kids walking and riding their bicycles.

With proud parents, grandparents and friends looking on, the staff at Footsteps and Fingerprints directed their 9th annual Independence Day Parade.
