SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Southeastern Oklahoma State softball team (53-10) got another two-out RBI single, this time from Jennifer Morales, in the bottom of the seventh inning and Jami McAdoo pitched a two-hit shutout upending top-seeded host Angelo State 1-0 at the NCAA South Central Regional.

The Savage Storm will next face Angelo State vs. Abilene Christian/St. Edward's winner at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the double-elimination regional. That game will be available via webcast on GoSavageStorm.com.

The Savage Storm set the school record for wins in a season with 53, breaking the previous mark of 52 from the 1997 season.

Seven different hitters each had a hit in the contest, with Morales collecting the lone RBI and Kristi Russell scoring the game's lone run.

McAdoo struck out three ASU hitters and did not allow a base runner to advance past second base while tossing the two-hit shut out.

There was plenty of action throughout the game for a low scoring contest, but the game came down to the bottom of the seventh in a 0-0 ball game.

Lesley Boyd led off the inning by reaching on an error by the ASU thirdbaseman. Russell replaced her on the basepath, and moved to second on an Ashley Graham sacrifice bunt.

A Cassy Tice groundout moved Russell to third, leading to Morales' game winning single through the left side to take the 1-0 victory.
