SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Southeastern Oklahoma State softball team (52-10) got a two-run single from Benita Sanchez with two outs in the top of the seventh inning to complete a 3-2 come from behind win over Midwestern State at the NCAA South Central Regional in San Angelo, Texas on Thursday.

The Savage Storm will next face Angelo State at 4 p.m. on Friday with the winner earning a berth directly to the championship game. That game will be available via webcast on GoSavageStorm.com.

Sanchez finished the game 1-for-4 with the lone hit driving in the game-winning runs. Rachel Sill picked up a 2-for-3 outing, while Kristi Goins scored two runs and Cassy Tice scored the game-winner on the Sanchez hit. Jennifer Morales also added a hit and an RBI.

In the circle, Marjorie Johnson got a gutsy complete game victory to move to 27-3 on the season. She struck out seven and allowed two runs on three hits.

MSU struck first getting an early run when Kristen Stonecipher singled home Maranda Bishop in the bottom of the first inning.

The Mustangs pushed their lead to 2-0 when Ashley Kuchenski plated Becca Wessels in the fourth inning.

Morales helped SOSU to cut the deficit in half with an RBI single in the fifth inning.

The Storm completed the comeback in the seventh when Sanchez drove in Goins and Tice on a two-out single up the middle to fashion the final of 3-2.
