The Trenton High School Social Studies team recently went to Austin and placed fourth in the Class A Social Studies Event.

Members of the team are seniors Mychela Brumfield, Holly Lawson and Scotty Dykowski, plus sophomore Kara Lawson.

This is the first time in school history that a social studies team from Trenton has advanced to state.

The students put in a lot of hard work beginning last August and should be thanked for their hard work and effort.

The seniors will be missed.
