A soldier arrives in the sand box and receives a letter/package of thanks from a stranger.

A new baby is born and receives a blanket, cap and booties while daddy is handing out bubble gum cigars to his buddies.

A puppy is accepted into a foster home while his owner is deployed. A wounded warrior arrives at Landstuhl and is given clothes and toiletries in hero’s pack.

Another wounded hero arrives stateside and gets a blanket of hope, cards of appreciation/encouragement and a new computer. A hospitalized veteran requests a new DVD and receives it. A group of soldiers in a remote area of Afghanistan requests items for a company coffee shop and receive everything they need from gourmet coffee pot to bean grinder and all the extra coffee, sugar and creamer they can handle.

Medics short on supplies receive what they can’t get in a timely fashion from the military. Troops working at a prison hand out donated clothes and toys to the visiting wives and children. What do these people have in common? They have all been touched by an angel; a Soldiers Angel!!

Soldiers Angels is the nations largest all volunteer military support group. It was started by the mother of an American soldier who said his buddies weren’t getting mail. There is now over 180,000 volunteers sending out messages of support in the form of cards, letters and lots of care packages.
