Work on US 377 shoulder overlay set to begin

Texas Department of Transportation officials met Tuesday, April 22, 2008 with representatives of R. K. Hall Construction Company, LTD. of Paris, Texas in a pre-construction meeting devoted to traffic safety and construction procedures to be used during the reconstruction  of  the shoulders on US 377 from FM 901 to US 82 in Grayson County.

 

The work to be done will consist of repairing flexible pavement at specified locations, apply asphalt tack coat on the shoulders, followed by hot mix asphaltic concrete overlay.

 

The Contractor has been granted 56 working days to complete the project.  The Contractor will set barricades and signs starting Wednesday, April 30, 2008 and work on Monday, May 5, 2008.   

 

The traveling public is requested to observe signs, barricades, and flaggers, to approach work zones cautiously with reduced speed, and follow the pilot car.
