TRAHC’s Annual JUMP! JIVE! & JAMFEST returns to Downtown Texarkana’s Celebration Square with even more MUSIC!  ARTS ! FOOD!  &  FUN! 
 
WILD MAGNOLIAS the New Orleans "Indians" (but they're really not!)  with their hand-crafted feathered costumes and Mardi Gras Second-Line street-beat music headline the BBQ Preview Party on Friday night.  Truly NOT to be missed!!  Saturday afternoon featured performers are the 08 Grammy-nominated Cherryholmes Bluegrass Band.  Then Saturday night, it's the take-it to-the-limits hard rock of SPIN DOCTORS! 
 
LOTS of stuff for families in the ArtSparK all day plus BUGS & BALLOONS are back!  The Segways return with a longer course and more time.  Teens and collegians can enjoy the jAVA hUT with Guitar Hero, open mic, board games & coffee.  There are two more stages of local/regional bands playing all day, plus sensational young professionals in The School of Rock.  

Enjoy student showcases on a fourth stage, sit in on Improv comedy, slam poetry, or Speed Theatre, African drumming, or sculpting sessions or doodle with Chalk on the Walk.  The ArtsBazaar has dozens of  original works (many demonstrated), and we dare you to sample ALL the items in the food court!   (This is just a "smidgen."  Check www.jumpjivejamfest.org for new activities & bands being added weekly!)
 
Try your hand at blacksmithing, bladesmithing, pottery or wood-turning, paper making or any one of the many other hands-on activities (yes, adults, you can have fun, too!).  The Wacky ArtsParade is at 5pm down State Line and clears the grounds.  Come back at 6pm for the hilarious T-Town Burger Cook-off and entertainment.   

SPIN DOCTORS take the mainstage about 9pm.  Food and beverages will be available.
