QUANAH, Texas –The Easter Sunrise Service is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 6:30 a.m. The annual non denominational service will be hosted again this year by Rev. John Spangler of the Trinity Baptist Church in Quanah.  The service will be held outside the park headquarters.  In case of inclement weather, the service will move inside the park museum/headquarters.

“It is usually chilly on Easter Sunday morning, so bring a blanket and dress to stay warm,” said park manager David D. Turner.

The annual Easter Sunrise Service is free, but the regular park admission fee of $2.00 for adults is charged for those wishing to enter the park for day use.

For more information on Copper Breaks State Park facilities or programs, call 940-839-4331 during regular business hours.

Copper Breaks State Park is located 13 miles south of Quanah and eight miles north of Crowell on State Highway 6.
