Sherman, Texas -- Children's Chorus of Greater North Texas presents Music & Memories in May at Hope on Houston Monday, May 20. The silent auction begins at 5:00 p.m. and the concert is set for 6:45 p.m.

The purpose of the Children's Chorus of Greater North Texas is to provide children with the experience of artistic excellence and artistry through choral singing. They're the process of developing the children's chorus a spirit of community has been created which reflects the diversity of the greater North Texas area. The audience for 20 years has been enriched with the best in children coral literature.

The chorus includes boys & girls and grades 4 through 8 with unchanged voices and a grads choir and provides rich and rewarding music experience for young singers. Besides being a group of children who sing well, we strive to be an organization that honors and respects children and create an environment where they can learn and grow. At rehearsals and performances the children learn and practice critical values such as integrity responsibility, caring, respect for others, tumeric and a love of beauty. What we give back to our community is an environment world children from every comedian background can learn to work together harmoniously to achieve a common goal. And that goal has been part of the richness of our communities and we welcome members of Grayson and fannin county to attend our 20th anniversary celebration on May 20th at Hope on Houston in Sherman, Texas where we will honor the rich history of this organization, the founder Susan Matthews of Sherman, Texas, current Artistic director, Heidi Scheidmeier of Sherman, Texas and many other board members and  families that have served through the years.

The public is welcome to attend this free concert that begins at 6:45 p.m. followed by a reception and silent auction that will benefit the children for years to come.
