Dodd City, Texas -- Dodd City sports fans are busy keeping up with the school's softball and baseball teams as playoff action continues.

The Dodd City Hornets (14-5) will take on Electra in a Region II-1A semifinals contest set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Sanger High School.

The Dodd City softball team has advanced to the Region II-1A finals where the Lady Hornets will face Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. Friday in a one-game playoff at Waxahachie High School.
